Municipal Consent - Municipality of North Perth ($210.00)

Municipal Consent is the Municipality of North Perth’s authorization for a utility to occupy a specific location(s) within the municipality’s right-of-way, for the purposes of the utility to install, upgrade, downsize, occupy or remove public/private infrastructure equipment or hardware. Municipal Consent may require a separate municipal access agreement with the Municipality of North Perth.

Oversized Load Permit - Municipality of North Perth ($210 /per permit)

An Oversize/Overweight Load - Trip Permit (OO Trip) is required for the transportation of a load(s) that exceeds the limits prescribed in the Highway Traffic Act (HTA), on a specific day(s), on a specific route, that is not already allowed for by a current Oversize/Overweight Load - Annual Permit (OO Annual).

Road Entrance Permit - Rural - Municipality of North Perth ($210)

A Road Entrance Permit is required to construct, relocate or modify any existing or new construction of an entrance, adjacent to a municipal road allowance. This includes all rural and urban properties, whether permanent or for the use of temporary road access. The project of adding or modifying the road entrance will be subject to a Work in Right-of-Way permit application, which is associated with the Road Entrance Permit.

Special Event Roadway Permit - Municipality of North Perth ($200)

A Special Event Roadway Permit is required if you are planning to organize an outdoor event or activity which requires a temporary road closure within the Municipality of North Perth. This can include municipal roads, lanes, or sidewalks within the municipal road allowance. Additionally, any planned events to be held on municipal property will require a permit, such as municipal owned parking lots, parks, trails, etc. Special events include, but are not limited to: parades, running/walkathons/race events, festivals, and outdoor concerts.

Work in Right-of-Way Permit - Municipality of North Perth ($210.00)

A Work in Right-of-Way Permit relates to any activity that results in traffic disruption, including bins, materials and equipment blocking lanes, or the cutting, excavation, boring, filling, additions, or altering in any way, roadways, curbs, sidewalks, boulevards, ditches, trails, and other areas within the right-of-way. A traffic plan in compliance with the Ontario Traffic Manual (OTM), Book 7, Temporary Conditions for traffic plan instructions, may be required. Application may be made to multiple road authorities with this service (e.g., county road, town sidewalk), by selecting the Multi-Jurisdiction option (coming soon).
