Municipal Consent - Municipality of North Perth

Municipal Consent is the Municipality of North Perth’s authorization for a utility to occupy a specific location(s) within the municipality’s right-of-way, for the purposes of the utility to install, upgrade, downsize, occupy or remove public/private infrastructure equipment or hardware.

Municipal Consent may require a separate municipal access agreement with the Municipality of North Perth.

Oversized Load Permit - Municipality of North Perth

An Oversized Load Permit is required for the transportation of load(s) that exceeds the Ministry of Transportation’s accepted limits with height, length, width or weight, as prescribed in the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).

Road Entrance Permit - Municipality of North Perth ($155.00)

A Road Entrance Permit is required to construct, relocate or modify any existing or new construction of an entrance, adjacent to a municipal road allowance. This includes all rural and urban properties, whether permanent or for the use of temporary road access.

The project of adding or modifying the road entrance will be subject to a Work in Right-of-Way permit application, which is associated with the Road Entrance Permit.

Work in Right-of-Way Permit - Municipality of North Perth ($205.00)

A Work in Right-of-Way Permit relates to any activity that results in traffic disruption, including bins, materials and equipment blocking lanes, or the cutting, excavation, boring, filling, additions, or altering in any way, roadways, curbs, sidewalks, boulevards, ditches, trails, and other areas within the right-of-way. A traffic plan in compliance with the Ontario Traffic Manual (OTM), Book 7, Temporary Conditions for traffic plan instructions, may be required.
